Galloway Leads Remodeling Efforts of DIA Conoco

Thu, 31 May 2012

Galloway is providing engineering, architecture, fueling, landscape architecture, and site lighting services for Pacific Convenience and Fuels' remodel and expansion of the Conoco facility on Pena Boulevard. Phase 1 of the project includes the remodel of the existing convenience store and car wash, the addition of a drive-through fast food restaurant, the addition of four new fuel dispensers and two new underground storage tanks, and all related site work and permitting through Denver International Airport and the City of Denver.

Phase 2 will include renovations and expansions to accommodate the proposed relocation of DIA's 45-minute wait lot from its current location on the south side of Pena Boulevard to a site immediately adjacent to the Conoco facility. The relocation is designed to provide services, including a food court and restrooms, for rental car customers, airport employees, and those waiting to pick up airport arrivals. Additional services being considered include flight-information monitors and the ability to print boarding passes at the site. The project is expected to be complete by May 2013.
